Planned Gifts and Bequests
In addition to supporting our current work through your generous cash donations, here are some other ways to consider making an impact (we encourage you to consult with your financial advisor to discuss complete tax implications of these options):

Bequests
One of the easiest ways to help simply involves naming the Coalition for Responsible Community Development as a beneficiary in your will and living trust.  A bequest through your will or living trust allows you to support your community while retaining complete control over your assets during your lifetime.  A bequest may be for a particular dollar amount or a portion of your estate.  The savings from estate tax may be considerable.

Life Insurance Policy and IRA’s
Similar to bequests, these are also simple options in which you can name the Coalition for Responsible Community Development as a partial beneficiary of these assets.

Life Income Gifts
By partnering with the California Community Foundation, we can establish vehicles such as charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts, which involve transferring cash or other assets to the Coalition for Responsible Community Development in exchange for regular payments for the rest of your life (and your spouse).

Complex Gifts
If you are a business owner, own real estate property, or any other type of complex asset, and are interested in exploring options for giving that can help both the Coalition for Responsible Community Development and provide income and tax benefits for you and your family, we would like to hear from you.  By partnering with the California Community Foundation, we can help provide you with charitable and financial solutions.

Recognition
The Coalition for Responsible Community Development’s Legacy Society recognizes those – both living and deceased – who have remembered the Coalition for Responsible Community Development in their will or trust.
