CRCD Academy serves youths ages 16-24 who are looking for an alternative high school including:
- Out-of-school youth
- Youth out of the workforce
- Those who struggled in a traditional school
- Youth on work release or alternative sentencing

The Academy utilizes a project-based learning curriculum and incorporates community service, leadership, and career preparation. CRCD Academy is operated by a partnership of the Coalition for Responsible Community Development (CRCD), Los Angeles Trade-Technical College, and YouthBuild Charter School of California.
