The Adult Workforce Development Department connects dislocated workers, Veterans, and the formerly incarcerated with wraparound employment, training, and financial coaching services.


We offer the following free services for job seekers:
- Free Internet Access, Computers, Printers, and Communication Tools to help broaden your search, research employers, create your resumé and cover letter, and prepare for interviews
- Workshops designed to help you improve your job hunting, interview and resume skills
- One-on-One Interview Preparation with one of our qualified staff members
- Job Fairs/Recruitment Events throughout the year, hosted by the Vernon-Central WorkSource Center
- Financial Coaching
- Justice System Involved Employment Coaching
All events are free of charge for job seekers and offer access to potential employers as well as the opportunity to interview and gain employment on the spot.

CRCD team members form partnerships with our community members through one-on-one career coaching that effectively pairs people with personalized industry training, workforce readiness, financial coaching, entrepreneur training, and other support services.
