CRCD Academy is a high school diploma pathway for young people who didn’t find success in a traditional school setting. Co-located on Los Angeles Trade-Technical College and with wraparound services from CRCD that support you every step of the journey.
This is a “regular” school: It’s designed with added support, including access to training opportunities, workforce, travel stipends, mental health services and much more to make sure you can succeed on a timeline that fits your life.

CRCD Academy is an innovative high school site located on the Los Angeles Trade-Technical College campus.

No Cost Support Services
Flexible learning models: classroom-based and independent study
Transportation help (TAP/bus passes; gas card if eligible).
Food: free breakfast and lunch.
Technology: laptop lending; even hotspots case-by-case.
Tutoring, including support for English learners.
Mental health support
Scholarships are available.
Paid internships/training and clear career pathways (when eligible).
Dual enrollment access at LA Trade-Tech; students can take college courses while in high school.

No, CRCD Academy is no cost to you.
Is this all done online or by mail?
No, CRCD Academy is real instruction with real support; either with one-on-one support or within a classroom setting.
Can I work or care for my child and still attend?
Yes. We offer flexible schedules, including independent study options. We’ll work with you to build a plan that fits your life.
English isn’t my first language, can I still apply?
Absolutely, CRCD Academy include tutoring in your language of choice.
How long does it take to earn credits
Students can earn credits on a trimester schedule, which helps many finish sooner than in a traditional semester system.
What happens after I enroll?
You’ll join an orientation, meet your support team, and set goals. Many students continue to take college classes at LA Trade-Tech and some, if eligible, move into paid internships and job pathways.
