Since 2005, the Coalition for Responsible Community Development has been committed to changing the lives and conditions of our South LA neighborhood. We have been proud to serve our community and provide our clients with education, workforce skills, jobs, and access to housing. Our Adult Workforce Development department has expanded over the years to provide more job accessibility and opportunity to our adult residents including our reentry and COVID-19 dislocated neighbors.

We are committed to preparing our residents to take advantage of better job opportunities and become workforce ready to connect to jobs with family-sustaining wages in communities that have been neglected and underrepresented. With several affordable housing developments in construction and upcoming major sporting events coming to Los Angeles leading up to the 2028 Olympics, we are preparing pathways to employment to increase growth for economic change.

The Multi-Core Curriculum (MC3) training program at CRCD is a paid gateway opportunity for those looking for a career within the construction trade. CRCD is partnered with the LA/OC Building & Construction Trades Council Apprenticeship Readiness Fund to provide paid MC3 training to provide pathways to union apprenticeship and match them graduates with potential jobs in construction. We are also immensely proud to provide our graduates with jobs on two current affordable housing developments – the Evermont development site in South LA and The Garvey development site in Compton. The next MC3 training cohort starts on July 25th and we are actively recruiting individuals who are interested in paid training and future job opportunities in construction.

We are looking forward to building better jobs for our adult residents and make them a priority in our mission to changing lives and building neighborhoods responsibly.
