CRCD is excited to introduce Veronica Garcia, the new Chief Human Resource Officer. Veronica is an accomplished human resources professional with over 15 years of experience. She has held various roles within the human resource department, including Administration, Payroll Specialist, Generalist, HR Manager, Director, VP of Human Resources and Talent Management, and currently serves as CRCD’s Chief Human Resources Officer. She has worked in both for-profit and non-profit organizations, with a focus on the non-profit sector for the past 12 years. Specifically, she has dedicated the last eight years to serving the formerly unhoused on Skid Row.

Her expertise lies in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives, playing a pivotal role in shaping the human resources landscape and fostering a positive work environment. She possesses a strong educational background while holding memberships in organizations such as the Professionals in Human Resources Association, Society for Human Resources Management, and National Human Resources Association. In 2022, she was nominated for the National Human Resource Executive of the Year in Los Angeles, further highlighting her accomplishments and recognition in the field.

Originally from Southern California, she is fluent in Spanish and values her family greatly. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones and engaging in activities such as kayaking, hiking, and bowling.
